Weapon TestingMost of the people in the Unit 731 camps were used as aids to improve the testing of weapons. These people were used as targets to test grenades poisoned with various diseases positioned at different lengths and positions, flame throwers were used, used as targets to test germ-releasing bombs, chemical weapons, and explosive bombs.
On the website, Prisoners of Eternity, it said, “Prisoners-of-War were also used to test the effectiveness of weapons often tied to a post with explosives attached and blown up, burned alive with flame-throwers, or repeatedly stabbed with germ infected bayonets.” The image shows how the Japanese used the
Chinese prisoners as test subjects for weapons testing. |
