The war crimes committed by the Japanese on the Chinese civilians and POWs were recognized such as the Nanjing Massacre, vivisections,
infecting humans with diseases, and also the biological and chemical weapons testing that occurred in Unit 731. So, the government and military officials were put on trial like Iwane Matsui, Heitaro Kimura, General Hideki Tojo, General Homma Masaharu,General Tomoyuki Yamashita, Nobusuke Kishi, Yoshisuke Aikawa, and many others. |
